What's the launch party?
It's the night Slotted goes live. The first 500 people in the DC area to join the waitlist get an invite by email, in the order they signed up. The party is 21 and over. Can't make it? Everyone on the waitlist can download the app and start matching that same night.
Who can join?
We're launching in Washington, DC, and anyone within about 50 miles is in. That covers places like Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Bethesda, Silver Spring, Annapolis and Columbia. You need to be 18 or older and single.
I'm not near DC. Can I still sign up?
Yes, please do. We use waitlist ZIP codes to decide where Slotted goes next, so every signup from your area moves your city up the list.
What makes this different from Hinge, Bumble, or Tinder?
Those apps optimize for the match — the fifteen-second dopamine hit, then it's on you to somehow turn a "hey" into a plan. Slotted optimizes for the date. Your weekly availability is built into the app itself, so getting from matched to meeting up doesn't depend on either of you initiating out of nowhere, and scarce weekly Slot Tokens mean the people signaling you actually mean it.
