Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Slotted. By creating an account, you confirm that you're 18 or older, that you're not prohibited from using dating services under applicable law, and that all information you provide is truthful and accurate. One account per person — you may not create an account on behalf of someone else or maintain more than one active account.

2. What Slotted is

Slotted is a dating platform built around real availability: you set weekly time slots, signal interest in a match's open time, and confirm actual dates rather than open-ended messaging. The app also includes profiles, posts, stories, direct messaging between matches, and a token system (Slot Tokens and Slotted Tokens) used to signal interest and unlock certain features.

3. Verification

We require a live verification selfie during signup to confirm you're a real person. This photo is kept private, is never shown to other users, and is used solely for identity verification as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your safety & conduct

Slotted does not conduct criminal background checks on users. We cannot and do not guarantee the identity, intentions, age, or background of anyone on the platform. You are solely responsible for your own safety and judgment when communicating with or meeting other users. We strongly encourage you to meet new matches in public places, tell someone your plans before meeting up, and never send money or financial information to another user.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, or relationship status.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Solicit money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or financial information from other users.
• Post content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, or violent.
• Use Slotted for commercial solicitation, spam, or unauthorized advertising.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated tools to access the app or its data.
• Create more than one account, or create an account after being previously banned.

Violating any of the above may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, at our discretion, without prior notice.

5. Reporting & blocking

Slotted includes in-app tools to block and report other users. We review reports and take action we deem appropriate, which may include warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent bans. We are under no obligation to take a specific action on any report, or to share the outcome of an investigation with the reporting user.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, posts, stories, and other content you submit to Slotted. By posting content, you grant Slotted a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has already been shared with another user (e.g. a message) or retained for a limited period as required by law.

You're responsible for the content you post. Don't post anything you don't have the rights to, or anything that violates another person's privacy or rights.

7. Tokens & purchases

Slot Tokens and Slotted Tokens are virtual items used within the app to signal interest and access certain features. Tokens have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, transferred between accounts, or exchanged outside the app. Any premium subscriptions or token purchases are billed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's own terms and refund policies — Slotted does not process payments directly. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's policies.

8. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you've violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or unsafe behavior, or for any other reason, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimers

Slotted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any user you interact with is who they claim to be. Slotted is not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the platform, including any interactions, meetups, or dates arranged through the app. You use Slotted, and interact with other users, entirely at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slotted LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any interactions or meetings with other users, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Slotted after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
